Tuofeng Mountain
Climb for a panorama of the Snow Capital
About
Named for its camel-shaped ridge, Tuofeng faces Jiangjunshan across the Kran—one of the easiest summit viewpoints in the city. From the top or mid-slope paths, take in the river valley, urban outline, and distant peaks together.
Dusk light is soft and ideal for city-and-mountain frames; viewing platforms and rest points make this a moderate half-day hike. Greener off-season; snowy season brings silver city views—watch for ice on steps.
Allow 2–3 hours round trip with trainers and water. Same-day with Kran Riverside and Birch Forest Park for a full urban overview. Avoid climbing in strong wind, rain, or snow unless the site says it is safe.
