Origin of Human Skiing Museum
Tracing skiing born in the Altai through art and artifacts
About
Inside Jiangjunshan resort, the museum uses petroglyph replicas, artifacts, and research to tell thousands of years of skiing culture in the Altai—the most compelling exhibition space for the Origin of Human Skiing brand.
Exhibits cover ancient skiing scenes, fur-ski craftsmanship, and modern winter sports, with interactives and video—friendly for families and study tours. After visiting, take the resort gondola or ski in season for a full history-to-slopes day.
Open year-round; busiest in ski season—allow 1–1.5 hours. Check closure days and temporary shows; off-season access depends on resort transport and lifts. Combine with Altay Museum and Jiangjunshan for culture plus sport.
