The center offers public astronomy programs under Altay's clear, low-light skies—a cultural stop on star-chasing itineraries with indoor exhibits and telescope sessions at night.

Ideal for astronomy, astrophotography, and night views—many events need booking and cap attendance. Combine with G331 viewpoints or countryside camps for one- or two-night star routes.

Weather and moon phase strongly affect viewing—follow official notices. Nights are cold—dress warmly and dim your lights; non-event hours may be closed.
